Privacy Policy
Tribute Montage Create is a service of Dvideo Inc., 7 Rye Ridge Plz #130, Rye Brook, NY 10573. Last updated: August 21, 2026.
The short version
We collect what we need to make your video and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise, and we do not use your photographs to train anything.
You can delete everything at any time from your account, and we delete it for good rather than hiding it.
What we collect
Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can tell you when your video is ready.
The photographs and videos you upload, and any changes you make to them, such as rotating one or telling us where a face is.
Photos your relatives add, if you share your family link. We keep each photo with the name the relative typed and a one-way scrambled form of their internet address (a hash, which cannot be turned back into the address), so you can see who sent what and so nobody can flood your video. Their photos wait for you and go into the video only if you add them, and they are deleted with your project.
What you type into the wizard: the person’s name and dates, a verse or message, and your choices about timing, colour and music.
Payment records: the amount, the date and Stripe’s reference for the transaction. We never see or store your card number. That goes straight to Stripe on their own page.
Anything you write to us through the “Something’s not right” form, so we can answer it and fix what went wrong.
About the person the video is for
The name, dates and photographs of the person being remembered are personal information about somebody who cannot agree to it themselves. You are giving it to us on their behalf, as their family or on the family’s instruction. We treat it with the same care as your own information, we use it only to make the video, and we delete it on the same schedule.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of companies to run the service. Each one only receives what it needs, and none of them may use your material for their own purposes.
Supabase stores your account, your project and your uploaded photographs (United States). Google Cloud runs the software that builds the video (United States). Cloudflare serves this website and stores your finished video. Stripe takes the payment and holds your card details, not us. Resend sends our emails.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We would only hand anything over if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Your finished video: one year from the day you pay, so you can download it again. Please keep your own copy; that is the permanent one.
Your photographs: we do not delete them on a schedule. We used to say twelve months and then destroy them. We stopped, because deleting a family's photographs on a timer helps nobody.
But we are not keeping them for you, and this is the important part. We hold them as long as we reasonably can, as a courtesy. We do not guarantee it, we may remove older material at any time, and we cannot be responsible if it has gone. Never delete your only copy of a photograph because you think we have it. This is not a backup service and it is not a safe place to store anything. Keep your originals somewhere you control.
If you want to know whether we still hold something, ask us and we will tell you.
If you never buy anything, we delete abandoned projects and the photographs in them after 12 months.
Payment records are kept longer, because tax and accounting rules require it. Those records hold the amount and the date, not your photographs.
Deleting everything
There is a delete option in your account that removes your project, your photographs and your videos. It happens straight away and we do not keep a copy. It is not a hiding place: the files go, and we cannot get them back for you afterwards, so download anything you want to keep first. This is the one thing on this page we guarantee. Everything above is about how long we might hold something. This is about your right to make us stop, and we honour it immediately.
You can also email us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete all of it including your account.
Security
Your photographs and videos are stored privately, not on public web addresses. A download link is created only when you ask for one and stops working a few minutes later. Everybody who works here signs in with their own account.
No system is perfect. If something ever goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you.
Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 18 as a customer. Photographs of children within a family tribute are of course expected, and are treated like any other photograph you upload.
Cookies
We use what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember your work in progress. We also use Google Analytics, which sets a cookie so we can count visits and see which steps people get stuck on. It does not see your photographs, your video or your name. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not follow you around other websites.
The memorial pages you share with family are not measured at all.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. For anything at all, write to us. A person reads it.
Our terms of service and refunds policy cover the rest.
